The base of the 14′ domes are 12 approximately equal sided regular polygons. The covering is loaded when staking and this seats it unevenly into the clips we use to join it. Therefore the length of the sides are best determined by putting the dome up, staking it out to stress the base tight and then take the measurements for each of the 12 sides.
